Here is another small tip for Microsoft Excel. Many at times, the data is presented in different format in different Excel sheets and while moving the data from one sheet to another imposes copying the date from a row to a column or from a column to a row.

In the R1C1 reference style both the rows and columns are labeled using numbers. Earlier versions of Excel from MS Office came with only R1C1 reference style. But recent versions like Office 2007 has both referencing styles.

For example, in A1 Reference Style, E15 refers to the cell in 15th row and Eth (5th) column and the same cell in R1C1 Reference Style uses R15C5 (R followed by the row number and C followed by the column number).

In the new Yahoo Mail, deleting or adding a folder is very simple. As all that you have to do is right click in the folder area. I guess many are not aware that right clicking at the folders or mail in Yahoo Mail doesn’t activate the regular Windows Options but its own Yahoo Mail Options. This works both for the folders and within mails. Read the rest of this entry »
