Je n’arrive plus a me connecter sur Yahoo messenger a partir de mon mail yahoo. Je pouvais le faire avant et je continue de l’avlir a la maison, mais je l’ai plus sur le laptop de mon bureau. Que faire?

I can’t find the ansewer to my question. How do I keep yahoo messenger from notifying of messages when I am not in my email or online. How can I set up messenger to only notify of messages in my email or online.

all you gotta do to get the yahoo messenger inside yahoo mail is click on the “options” button drop down menu(top right corner) and click on “switch to yahoo mail classic”….you will then see the messenger on the left…then you can switch back to the “new yahoo mail”(top right corner again) if you like.

how do i stay offline or signed out to ym when logging on to email. i mean whenever i open my email account im already logged onto the messenger, i want it to be signed out automatically whenever i log in to the mail. help?

I JUST INSTALL YAHOO MESSENGER, WHEN I PUT MY ACCOUNT IT SAID MAY BE THE PROBLEM IS IN THE PASSWORD OR SIGN IN PROBLEM.. BUT WHEN I LOG IN MY ACCOUNT IN YAHOO MAIL .. IT WORK .. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM????

Lamb, you can successfully block it using Ad-Blocker Plus.

With ABP active and running (FireFox is the browser I did this upon), I opened it (by clicking on the ABP ‘stop sign’) and sorted the items available on the page by ‘Type’, and then scrolled down to the ‘Script’ (JavaScript) entries; I located four items associated with the filter noted below, and enabled said filter for the page… and, voila – the thing is NO MORE!!

Even though that got rid of it, there’s another script, and a stylesheet, which could be worth investigating further as to whether or not they’re related to the issue:
