Here it is another community similar to mybloglog or you can say blogger’s orkut. It’s called Explode.
How do you explode? Same! They give you a widget showing the faces of your friends, who have been online most recently, which you can put up in your site.

They pass comments which can be viewed by all in the “comment walls”. Not only that, you can search by your interests (technology for example) and they list all the sites, now you can add them as your favorite or your friends.
Signing up? Signing up does not take more than 2 minutes. By default your picture shows the face of a monkey and that makes you to add your picture (quite thoughtful).
This also serves as another way of promoting your site like adding your sites to web directories and the sublink they provide is another link to your site. Explode is trying to do one thing, instead of making another blogging platform they are acting as an interface between all other blogging platforms.

Will Explode take over other major communities? For that we have to wait and see, what other features explode is coming up with.
