I was using Internet Explorer 7 in Windows XP and it did not give any problem with flash and I was able to view all the flash enabled sites. But after upgrading to Windows Vista, I was not able to see any flash enabled sites even after the flash upgrade and I was getting the message “Get the latest flash player”.
I searched in Google and found that it is due to some error. Do the following to rectify it.

Go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
Run FlashUtil9b.exe

That’s it. Now IE 7 will work fine with all flash enables sites.

In Windows Vista, I installed Flash player for IE7 without problems. UAC prompted me for the Flash installation and it works fine.
