OK, but when resolving a name, only one server is used. Browsers don't query every server when requesting a name. Nor do they all update at exactly the same time. So if local name server records are changed why do we need to wait for the whole world to update. Shouldn't the name resolve when the regional server updates?

I think your explanation has all the nuances to make dns propagation clearly understood for me. For this I thank you very much.

If a user of the new domain wants to surf this domain which refers to the new ip number address until its propagation in the user's isp's local dns server (cache) I think there is a work around for this in personal hosts files.

It could come in handy to publish this or refer another webpage with this matter in extension to your article.
