Most of us have more than one Yahoo or Gmail id which we use to contact different kinds of friends. But the one disadvantage with the Yahoo Messenger or Google talk is that it doesn’t allow login with more than one id at any point of time. This is why many use other applications like Yahoo multi messenger which is not released by Yahoo. But many are not aware that with little bit of tweaking in the original Yahoo Messenger, it is possible to login with different Yahoo id at the same time.
Steps to do it:
Download this registry file (No big code here, just a single line to change the value so that it accepts multiple Yahoo IDs. If you are apprehensive about the code, open using any text editor and see for yourself)
Run this registry file by double clicking and Click yes to proceed. This will give the message ‘Information added to registry’.
From next time when you open Yahoo messenger you will be able to use multiple instances of it.

Nice tips i will try it , till yet even i was using yahoo multi messenger for multiple login or we can login through yahoo messenger and second id can be used in meebo online messenger .
I used it.Sounds really cool.Guess it must be modifying the value where the restriction to open multiple instances is made

Hi, I run the registry and it works fine.
I have a question..how can you have multiple IDs in YM using one ID only at the same time eg. crozhee but you can still chat to the person using crozhee1, crozhee2. BY not using another ym application.
