Just use Windows Skydrive. I am not a big windows fan, but the skydrive makes adding files a piece of cake. It is just drag and drop.

Mr. Byte, thanks for the tip. I tried updating the toolbar but the option "Docs & Spreadsheet" and "File Settings" are not showing. I am wondering if it may be a browser issue; I am using IE7 not Firefox.

@Shamel, Try updating to the new toolbar. I just tried in my Firefox 3 Google toolbar and it is there. Just check the option Docs & Spreadsheet so that 'File Settings' option becomes available.

When I click on Settings, then options, I do not find a "File Settings" button under the "Features" tab. Any ideas?

It's not working for me. I've reinstalled toolbar, reenabled, rebooted the works...I see a "Loading..." message, but there's nothing there.

Any clues?

This is really cool feature. I have been using Google Docs for months now and I didn't know about this. Like you said, its more comfortable to update docs in the local PC, but sharing them over net is really cool.

Going to try this one.

I started using Google Docs last week and it seems ok to me. This tip is a great time saver. I think I'll try this one out.
