My main objective is to save a video so I can play it back later without being online. I have a slow dial up connection and want to play the videos in Windows Media PLayer. So I suppose I need a way to download the video, convert it to wmv and save it in a play list. Are any of the programs mentioned going to work for this? Thank you.

It does not work for me. The Download This Video does not appear at all. I have done it before, now with the new Real Audio version it is not. I have tried different setting in Preferences = nada! What could be wrong?

SO I hear a lot of People who have iPOD or iPHONE go WTF**???

Ok in short . lots of pple know HOW to get free Music Vidaos from Utube. if not here it is:-

:D EASY > QUICK and fast !!!!:D:D:D

1)Play utube video and let it fnish to the end ( waite till u seee the reply button)
2) go to your “temperaroy internet Folder(Windows xp pro) eg
C:\Documents and Settings\% user\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

3) sort file type by the SIZE ( make hihest on top of list)

4) you wll see file called someting like “get_video….”

5) Copy that file to anywhere into another folder
6) Rename that file to ” xxx.mpg”
7) play with any MEDIA player ,,, WMP is fine.
Load into iPOD or iPhone and enjoy !

Actually, if you’re really clever, have a look in your browser’s cache and you may find the file already there. The file size usually gives it away, even if it has no file extension and some sort of odd code like BE959317d01. Try opening it with VLC player (or some other player like Winamp). If it plays, you can copy it out of the cache and rename the file, which should probably have an FLV extension tacked on (verify with Gspot in Windows– it may be something else, like a WMV or divx). That’s in Firefox; not sure about IE6 or 7 how they’re marked.

You do actually have to PLAY the video to have it in the cache.
