Windows Vista Gadgets Competition was held by Code Project in partner with Windows Vista Blog team. The competition was to create high quality sidebar gadgets for Vista with good usability. Many developers put their effort into it to be the best and as the competition is over the results are out.
Here are the gadgets from top winners,
The winner gadget is Soapbox Video Gadget, this gadget allows you to browse and view videos based categories like, “Most Popular Videos”, “Most Rated videos”, and “Most Recent Videos”. This also allows you to browse videos based on tags.
And another winner is the C# GMail Inbox Reader! This helps to view Gmails directly from the sidebar. This not only notifies the number of unread mails but also read the incoming mails in the inbox. Finally you get to read your Gmails without any ads at their side. I just checked out this gadget and it looks good and the usability rating is high.
