Google’s applications are one of the kinds of applications which are mainly built considering the features and usability. But considering this they often forget the interface design part and they often look so mediocre. Google reader is no exception from them, but no one can deny the fact that it is one of the best RSS readers available.

But it is possible to have a good interface design for Google reader by themes if you use Firefox, Camino, Safari, Omniweb or Opera.
How to do it?
Stylish is a Firefox plugin which able the user to give a custom CSS for any URL. Install this plugin and get the CSS created by Hick Design for Google reader.
Right click the stylish icon which will be at the status bar and Move to Write Style and Click ‘For this URL‘. Just take the CSS that you have got from Hick Design and paste it there. Save and you are done. Now you will have a sleek web 2.0 look for Google Reader.
I have explained for Firefox, for other browsers you can read it from Hick Design.
