Lyte Byte is just 2 months old and its growth is very impressive. Lyte Byte has gained a Page Rank of 4 in the recent update, though it was predicted to be 5. I think it’s because of the supplemental issue I am currently having with Google indexing. All the tags page are being indexed as good pages while the most of the single pages are being treated as supplemental. This is also the reason why I am currently getting very low search hits from Google when compared with Yahoo and MSN.
Thoughts on How to get out from Supplemental Index:
Chris Garrett recently wrote an article on ‘Get Your Blog out of the Supplemental Index‘. You can use robots.txt or add some php codes to make sure Google is not indexing unnecessary pages as anyhow they consider as duplicate contents and it goes to supplemental Index. Greywolf also has a good video explaining about duplicate content.
If any one of you know any effective way to change all my single posts which is currently treated as supplemental links back to good links in the sight of Googlebot, please let me know.

Congrats Joel
Sizlopedia got Pagerank 5
Congrats!
Thanks DJ and Shankar, I found out that you got 5 yesterday itself. It’s easy when you have the toolbars in your browser
Congratulations to all.
AvirtualExit.com got its PR 4 as i thought. Still working on the same issue Mr byte pointed out.
To be honest Gilli and Joel
Just don’t fall to the ‘Duplicate Content’ syndrome and all will be fine
i.e. Don’t think much about it and everything will be fine
Thats my strategy of happy blogging
Congrats! Have you tried using Prefered Domain from Webmaster Tools ?
It resolves Supplement Pagerank issues, however, I still prefer the old 301 redirect method
congrats Mr Byte
techlivez.com is also going to be a Pagerank 5 website once the update is over.
