How to have a sticky post in your stumbleupon page?

If you are a regular StumbleUpon user then lots of other users may visit your page to view your contents or to find what you have stumbled. It will be a good opportunity to show ones blog but there is not enough space around to show in the page section, so the only way is to put the details of your blog as a post in your page which will be always the first post or in other words be a sticky post.

There is no actual way to have sticky post in StumbleUpon so this is how you manipulate the system with what they have given to have one.
How to do it?
If you still have no idea of what I am talking about then maybe you can look at my StumbleUpon page. To have a sticky post, click post to page and write your contents about your blog with good images and links to your site. Save it by clicking ‘Post this comment’.
When you stumble another article from any site it will reside above your comment and as days go by your comment will go deep into the archives. To make sure your comment is back on top, click edit on your comment and save it again. But here is the trick, when you save make sure you uncheck the box ‘Don’t change the date’. Now your sticky post will be first one to see for anyone who visits your StumbleUpon page.

As you have to do this procedure everytime you stumble a page, I would suggest you having a copy of comments in text format if your sticky post is heavily formatted. If you just have a picture and a link, I don’t think the format will change when you edit and save it again.

Interesting. I do this with MySpace, but have yet to really develop my SU account. Most of the people I know that do use it have benefitted pretty nicely from it.
