How to Add and Change the Default Search Engine in IE7?

While searching online in any browser, the search box at the top of the browser comes very handy and Internet Explorer 7 is packed with the default search engine provider, ‘Live Search’ in Vista. But mostly you would like to have Google search as your default search engine in your browsers. You can add new search providers and change default search engine in IE7 in an easy steps.
So, How to add new Search Providers in IE7?
1) At the right side of the search box, you will see that you have a drop down menu.
2) Click the down arrow button and Click ‘Find More Providers’. This will open an online page from Microsoft which lists most commonly used search engines.

3) Click the search engine which you want to use and this will give a pop-up asking you ‘Do you want to add the following search provider to Internet Explorer?’
4) If you want you can set that as default search engine by checking the box and Click ‘Add Provider’.

5) Use the search box to search with the new search provider.You can add all the search engines you would be using and make one search provider as default. At any point of time if you would like to see the search results from a different search provider, click the drop down menu and choose the search engine from where you would like to see the results.
How to Change the default Search Provider?
If you have already listed all the search engines you would like to use but if you want to change the default search provider. Choose ‘Change Search Defaults’ from the drop down menu. Choose your search engine you would like to have as default search provider and Click ‘Set Default’ and ‘Ok’
