How To Open Search Results in a New Tab in Firefox and IE?

Quite often it happens that you search online through the search box at the top of the browser when you are reading something in a tab, the search results are displayed in the same page. This is little annoying as you have click back to view the page that you were currently reading. Instead if you have opened the search results in a new tab, it would have been lot better.

So, How to Open Search Results in a New Tab?

when you type the search term in the search box, instead of pressing ‘Enter‘ alone, press it along with Alt key (Alt + Enter). This Keyboard Short trick works in both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Moreover this is also applicable for Search Box in Google Toolbar.
