Check out these two pictures and try to find out which one is Firefox and which one is IE7.

The first one is Firefox and the second one is IE7. If I give you ‘Spot the Difference‘ Contest between these two pictures probably you will find only one significant difference! The Firefox and Internet Explorer Icon at the top left corner. That’s it!
This is the power of Firefox themes! But more often when I come across some posts on Firefox with some snap shots, it always has the default theme. I don’t say the default theme is bad, it’s simple and different but it’s not that appealing (Or its this way at least to me and for those mass of people who download different themes)
myFirefox is the theme which most perfectly simulates Internet Explorer 7. After the advent of Vista, I guess everybody is trying to make their Firefox look good with Vista and probably this is the reason why themes like ‘Metal Lion - Vista‘ and ‘myFireFox‘ are on the top of most popular list.
Many do argue that changing the themes makes it to lose its originality but according to me it’s all about usability. Last time, I wrote an article on ‘How To Make Firefox Look Like Internet Explorer 6?‘ but myFirefox theme is much better than that.
Do you use themes for your Firefox? If Yes, What’s your favorite theme? Do drop a comment!

I don’t prefer any themes, for any software. In fact, the only theme (if you call it so) I use is the old look of Windows 98. IMO, performance matters than look
Man , they look very much similar . Stumbled ..
Cool. I’ve always wondered why people stick to the default theme when there are loads and loads of them available. Dugg and stumbled
For me performance is the key; and anyway, Firefox has a voracious appetite for memory.I’ve always preferred the default theme.
Well i too prefer the default theme, I have used the myFirefox theme and it really looks like IE.
lets see…i hope it may not slow down my firefox…ny one tested it pls tell the speed comparison with the default theme.
Good one. I did spot the difference, but it was not same as you.
In the firefox - print icon is missing the usual spot. And so is the RSS ICON :-)before the print.
