How to Protect EMail Ids from Spammers with CAPTCHA?

Though CAPTCHA is not popularly supported by bloggers, it is widley used by most of the secure pages. But the use of CAPTCHA to protect the mail ids on the web from spammers is not heard much. (Learn more about CAPTCHA)

MailHide is the email protection support by CAPTCHA and it can be used to hide the mail ids under a CAPTCHA when there is a need to display your mail ids online. By doing this, your mail id won’t be displayed directly as it is and it can’t be identified by the spam bots.

Here is a sample, where my mail id is being protected by CAPTCHA.

My Email Address xyz….@abc.com.

How to use MailHide?
Just enter the email address that you want to protect and they will give you a specific link which you can use it anywhere on the web.

      CAPTCHA has been broken, its not a foolproof way to secure anything anymore.

      Nowadays with so many types of spams.. it is important to be able to hide the email address.

      Never heard about the MailHider service before. I think it is worth trying it out.

      CAPTHA might be broken, but I believe it the only most used solution when it comes to SPAM protection.
