How to Access and Link Different Live IDs into One Account and Effectively Use It?

One of the best feature that is available in Live Mail but not in Yahoo or Gmail is to link all your Live accounts into one. This helps one to use different email address for different purposes (like one for friends & family and another for getting all the mail from sites that you signup daily and so on) and still manage everything from a single account and without signing in and out to verify mails from different accounts. This also helps a lot if you have your custom live domain email is managed by live accounts.
There are four necessary steps to avail the maximum utilization of the feature.
- Link all your Live IDs
- Forward all the accounts to the main account
- Group Incoming Emails from Different Accounts into Custom Folders
- Send emails from main account using different email address
First Link all your Live IDs
To link your Live accounts, click on the email address that you see on the far right corner, just above the Sign-out option in the Windows Live bar. And then click on Link Other Accounts. This will take to the page Manage Linked IDs.
On this page, click Link an existing Windows Live ID. It may ask for the password for the current account and give the credentials for the account that you want to link. It will send a confirmation mail to the account you want to link. Login to that account and confirm. The accounts that are linked will be displayed in the Manage Linked IDs page.
Now both the Live accounts are linked and each will act independently and only thing is you need not logout and login to view the other account. To switch accounts, click on the email address you see on the Windows Live bar near the sign-out option and there you can see different accounts listed that are linked. Just click the email address to switch back and forth.

@Ram, Live mail is better is some aspect than Yahoo and Gmail…but its definitely the better option for custom domain which I am using for one year now….Its far better than Gmail…And I use Yahoo for my personal mail as I have been using it way before Gmail came…
