Rock n Scroll – Accelerometer and Motion based Input Application for Nokia N95

I was just amazed when I saw the video of RockNscroll application from Keynetik for Symbian phones especially Nokia N95. This application lets the user to give input to the phone based on the hand motion while he is holding it. It works on the principle of Dual Motion and Step Motion Sensor Technology.

For example, when you are in the page where there are lots of applications and the first application is highlighted but if you want to choose the next application, you just move the phone to that side with a bit of force. To select the application, move the phone downwards and if you want to go the previous page move the phone upwards.
You can also change the input modes, so that the selection moves if you just tilt the phone rather than applying a forceful move. This is much useful when you are selecting a big song play list or similar things. Also like Apple iPhone, you can change the direction of the screen from portrait to landscape or vice versa.
The best of all is that this input method improves the gaming experience, where you don’t click or press any buttons, you just tilt the phone anyway you want and the target moves. It’s just awesome! You need to have it to experience it. I guess this will be the best application for any handheld devices like mobile phones (especially higher end phones like Nokia N95, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, iPhone) with Symbian or Windows Mobile, Gaming devices like Sony PSP etc.
And the next best thing is that IT’S FREE!!! But still its in beta, you can signup in Keynetik forum to download.
Wow– This is nice. I’d prefer to wait for the stable version, though.

@Grace, Yeah this will be big hit with all higher end mobiles…I am planning to buy Xperia…So I have to wait a little longer…

@Victor, You need to signup for the keynetik forum as its in beta mode now….Inside the forum the first section will be download where you can find the software….

i install in my n95 and when i runs the aplication nothing happens the instal was succesful what can i do
everything works good:) nice app which shows possibilities of symbian.. I am satisfied..
hay i have it downloaded in ma computer but wen i want to installe it to ma phone it doesnt work and it wont let me too…
