After writing the post on How to delete Folders in Google Reader, I found that many people are searching for how to delete folders in Yahoo Mail. The folders in Yahoo Mail are very helpful to organize different mails and aids in easy retrieval. I just realized that I have created 42 folders to manage my inbox and it would be really great if they support nested folders like in Outlook.
In the new Yahoo Mail, deleting or adding a folder is very simple. As all that you have to do is right click in the folder area. I guess many are not aware that right clicking at the folders or mail in Yahoo Mail doesn’t activate the regular Windows Options but its own Yahoo Mail Options. This works both for the folders and within mails.

So right click at any folder that you would like to delete and click delete to delete it. You can also use the rename option.
In the old Yahoo Mail Classic, to delete or add a folder, click the Add – Edit button near Folders at the top left corner. To add a folder click the Add button and to delete the folder click the Edit button. All the folders will be listed with the number of messages in each folder. Near each folder name, there will be Rename and Delete Option. Click the delete option to delete any folder.

@Joshua, You cannot share your emails from Yahoo Mail. But if you have premium account then you can setup to forward all the mails that you get in your inbox or another folder to a different email account that you specify.
