I am using xp and the options does not show a yahoo default setting. Is there any other way?

If you are using Windows Vista there is a program that you can download that makes it possible to have Yahoo Mail as your default email selection. As for XP I have seen almost all of the options to set Yahoo as a default email taken out of Yahoo email products including Yahoo Messenger.

This (Yahoo as mail default) used to work for me, but Vista thoughtfully “corrected” (read: disabled) this bit of programming from Yahoo. I’m glad that Yahoo has corrected the problem in Firefox, and I look forward to the day when they fix it (again!) in IE as well.

@Dell, Are you sure? I am having Windows Vista Home Premium with Windows Updates up to date and I still have the option working. (But as I said only in Firefox and not in IE)

i think intalling yahoo messenger and set in the pref. to yahoo mail to be the defaul mail for windows can set yahoo to be the default for all browsers .
