Mr. J just download the vista Aero theme for FF3 and there you have it. Also you can right click the menu bar click customize and drag the "new tab" button wherever you want.

I wonder why the usability engineers of FireFox didn't implement this by default. I mean, are they blind or what!

It should be obvious that "opening links from current tab" should be next to the current tab. Not only does it make the new tab easier to reach, it also keeps related tabs grouped together.

@Dr. Suhas Rao, Thanks for correcting me about the tabbed browsing.
And about the crashing, I found out the new Yahoo Mail is what causing the Firefox 3 to crash. As you had mentioned, I guess Yahoo Mail continously checking for new mails is causing the problem.

"Firefox is the first browser to have tabbed browsing before IE " I object your honour. It was Opera. Tabbed browsing, MDI interface, customisability waaay before eve the advent of Firefox.
"Madhur, I have been a IE user myself so far. Except for the speed I love IE better than Firefox. I don’t know why but my Firefox crashes way more often than IE."
Simply disabe talkback it'll solve the problem Anyway it did for me

But a Tab Mix Plus dev build is available for FF3. Check the Forums on the home page at http://tmp.garyr.net. Browsing the forums I found the latest dev build of TMP is always at http://tmp.garyr.net/tab_mix_plus-dev-build.xpi.
