When you send a mail through outlook, it goes to the gmail server and it saves the sent mails automatically to the sent mail folder. Now if you try to save it again in the sent mail, it will create duplicate copies of the sent mails. So use the Local Folder. 		<description>I have faced this issue quite some time back too and this definitely would have solved my problem, sadly I no longer use IMAP for Gmail with Outlook since it drastically slows it down trying to synchronize the more than 4 GB of emails I have in Gmail.</description>
