Knowing the keyboard shortcuts of any application does improve the efficiency of working. While coming to presentation, not only the content matters but also how it is presented. Here are some of the most used and the ones which you might need while making a presentation that would avoid you from fumbling or wondering how to move between slides.
Last week we saw the keyboard shortcuts to show or display a blank white or black slide while making a presentation. Knowing these additional keyboard shortcuts may end up saving your day while making the presentation through PowerPoint.
Ten must know PowerPoint 2007 Keyboard Shortcuts (May work in the previous versions too)
Begin a presentation from first slide – F5
Next animation or next slide – N, Enter, Page Down, or Spacebar
Previous animation or previous slide – P, Page Up or Backspace
(Note: You can also use the arrow keys to move around the slides)
End the presentation – Escape
Move to the first slide – Home
Move to the last slide – End
Show a white blank slide – W
Show a black blank slide – B
Erase all on-screen annotations – E
If your slides are not arranged properly and you want to move between slides during the presentation at your convenience without going through all the slides in between – Type the slide number and press Enter.
