Here is a quick tip on to use a keyboard shortcut to start or resume PowerPoint presentation from current slide.
To start presentation from first slide – F5
To start presentation from current slide – Shift + F5
If you are not the Keyboard Shortcut person, then you can go to Slide Show tab and then click From Current Slide
