Its a more common fact that we always use Copy and Paste at least some of the information while writing any document in Office Word. The default setting is that the contents are pasted with source formatting but most likely you always change it to the current formatting. You can change the setting in Word 2007 so that you can always paste without formatting so that it follows the current formatting or with destination formatting.
So how to always paste without formatting or with destination formatting in Word 2007?
Click the Office Button on the top left corner and click on the Word Options at the bottom (You will see this next to Exit Word)
In Word Options pop-up, click Advanced on the left sidebar. Scroll down to Cut, Copy and Paste section.
Here you will see different options for Pasting within the same document, Pasting between documents, Pasting between documents when style definitions conflict and Pasting from other programs. Keep source formatting is chosen by default and you can change it to Match Destination formatting or Keep Text Only for to Paste without formatting.

This tip always comes in handy and doesn’t get on you when you have to always use the auto correct feature to change the formatting and I wish this feature would also be available in Excel 2007 but as of I know they are not available.

Sounds good, but Match Destination Formatting doesn’t work. I’m pasting plain text (Normal style) from another document into a new document with a self-defined style that includes a bullet. With Match Destination Formatting selected (Within the Same, Between Documents, etc) what gets pasted is identical to the document I took it out of. I’ve had the same problem when copying bulleted text from a document into a new document set to the Normal style (the bullets come with the text I’m copying). We’re on a network in the office, and I don’t know if this influences the results or not. I’ve searched the internet and can’t find anyone else who is having the same problem.
